Cooler Times.

What up?

Just wanted to post up some of my new times. Last night at Bandi was awesome, nobody was there. I got 7 or 8 runs in and never waited over 5 or 6 minutes for my next run. Just hung alot with a bunch of cool Evo and Subie guys. Great to see everyone out there going for it. The cooler air was great last night.

I ran 4 11.7s last night with these 2 as the best

11.72@ 117.18 with a 1.56
and
11.70@ 117.08 with a 1.52

http://videos.streetfire.net/video/E...a-9a6500ec432d

Eat, Sleep, Race......Love it.

Awesome job, Tobz. Youre 60's are killer, and you improved that power-to-weight ratio, the combination of which resulted in a BIG jump in times. I will be back in the saddle again next week and plan to be at Bandi along with my buddy from work who has the stock 08 STi.

DthMtl, it's pretty much open Test'n'tune very Wednesday at Bandimere, but they occasionally have something else scheduled. Luckily, TNT is running like normal the rest of September on Wed nights with gates opening at 4pm.

Still the two fastest and quickest stock turbo'd Evos in the state! Was anyone else out there getting some good times?

I will try to make it out and run the X. I met Larry in the STI a few weeks ago at a gas station . Very nice guy hope to see you guys up there next week and see if I can't get my X into the 13's.

Ah, that was you. He said he met a X owner with your color who knew who I was. Yeah, we should all be up there, some try to find us. I have an 05 GG MR with white Exedy stickers on the rear doors.

Thanks guys.

Lumpskie, What clutch did you go with. I had 150 miles on my Exedy Twin when I went to the track. Almost 100 launches so far, not all on the track. Trying to keep an idea of how many launches this clutch will do before taking a crap.

I ended up getting the Fidanza 3.2 kevlar clutch. I heard good things about it, but we'll see when I get it broken in... I've sent all day working on it today

Ok... after 2 full days, finished installing the new clutch. I'll post up a new thread on my impressions of it's performance. Once it's broken in, though, you'll have to give me some pointers on how you are in the 1.5 60' range... that's flippin awesome. Congrats, again, on your time slips.

1.5s aren't normal, so a 1.6 would be just fine. We're both using drag radials, so if you're on street tires, it will be tougher, but 1.6s are still possible.
