I have one of the K&N breather filters and haven't seen any oil anywhere outside the filter. This is the one that Buschur sells and they recommend with their intake. The Buschur intake doesn't have a nipple on it to attach a hose too.. so you'd have to modify it.

You can DIY real easily, you want to add some kind of baffle though if you can. I was going to get an ebay one and then put some sort of baffle in it.

Something to catch the oil out of the oil vapors. Something like a filter or some kind of fibers or something. If you just have an metal can with nothing in it, then the oil vapors will still travel through the can and make their way to your intake, in the turbo, in the intercooler, etc.

BTW... I think a crankcase filter is even cheaper than a DIY catch can.

Just made my own using a Compressor filter like I posted above. I'll take some pictures when I get the chance. $15 for a catch can ain't bad at all.
