Evoscan Version 99 at altitutude

First off i want to say i am very new to this program. But anywho, Josh and i were using it on my car today and we did a few 3rd and 4th gear pulls and were using it to find the estimated HP. I realize that it is not the best way to calculate hp and tq on your car, but we were wondering what corrections need to be utilized at altitude to come up with a better calculation of hp, given that we are at altitude. HE could probably explain what im trying to say better, but he doesnt have internet right now so i told him i would post and see if anyone uses this version and knows what types of corrections need to be made to get the best calculation. Thanks!

Well, there's no correction to make, because what you put to the wheels is what you put to the wheels. No correction changes that. If you just want to know how much you'd make at sea level, then maybe add 13% or so. It's not a dyno, so it doesn't really matter.

There really aren't any corrections to make unless you're trying to figure out what your HP/TQ would be at sea level. Only problem with that program is it's based off of one specific set of factors. If there is any wind, humidity, slope of road or any other variable the number will change. The only corrections you can make is weight of car and weight of occupants as far as I remember.

Don't rely on vague "dyno" numbers. The 1/4 mile trap speed tells all.
