Forge WGA

Hey guys, I have a chance to pick up a NIB WGA pretty cheap. But I'm wondering if its a good move or not? It has the RED spring in it. Right now I'm running 24 spike down to a 21.5 taper at redline. Will this help hold more consistent boost in the midrange and keep spiking down? I also plan on running E85 very soon with like closer to 28psi daily, so again I'm hoping this will help on taper. What do you all think?

As far as I know, the upgraded wga helps to hold boost consistently across the powerband. However, be advised that some of the upgraded wga have come with torn diaphrams and/or broken nipples.

I would recommend you jump on it if its a good deal.

That's actually not a bad deal. Is it a vendor or a private party?

if you are on stock turbo you will have taper no matter what waste gate you run. your car will taper no mater what you do. but it does help a bit and if you plan on running that much boost you will need the upgrade so jump on it. red spring will be needed, so thats a good thing.
