yea, I have U.K. 7's now, the only difference is the red stripes across the turn signal, and that the 7's lens is red plastic, so they look "pink" out in the sun.
I forget - do you live down in the Springs, too? You'll be at Bandi on Sat right? I could buy and swap them there if it's easy. I've never removed the tails, so I don't even know how long it takes. Let me know...
I've known the difference since I first saw your car in person. I like the VIIs a little more due to the horizontal lines, but the solid red is a little better than the near-pink.
I'm near the Fed center but am actually working right up against I-70 at NREL on Cole St off Colfax (across the street from Colorado Mills mall). My hotel is on Simms and 6th, so it's even closer to the Fed center, but I haven't been over there yet - just see it when driving down 6th.
they look much better now than when you last saw them. i wet sanded/re clear-coated them on monday. much better than before, and will last a lot longer.
I haven't quite figured out how to replicate the horizontal lines on the tails without it being cost-prohibitive. I can do the pink, but I think the red looks more "lancerish" I love sleepers.
and I am on the "other side" of 5 minutes from bandimere (south). I can bring them up to bandi on sat for ya. just need some pliers, a phillips and a flat blade screwdriver.
