Are you willing to sell yours or do you want to keep it a full TBE? Does the Megan clear the rear bumper well? I have seen similar exhausts that look like they burn the bumper.

I'd prefer to sell it whole. I have several people who want to buy it but who just have to wait for other things to fall into place. I'm in no hurry, so there's no rush with selling it. If someone expresses interest in the DP/TP, then I'll gladly sell you just the cat-back.

It comes right to the outer edge of the bumper, and it won't burn the bumper unless your install causes it to touch the edges of the bumper cutout.

Sounds good. Just keep me in mind. So, I assume that you are saying just install it properly and you will be fine?

Yes, when I installed the cat-back myself 2 years ago, the tailpipe sat directly in the center of the cutout without touching anything.

tkevoixmr - I just want to let you know what I do for the 93/91 oct deal around here. I also go to Petro Stop for 93 everytime I need gas. It sucks sometimes because once I hit a 1/4 tank I might be on the other side of town... so it is a little inconvenience.

I got tuned by Al back in Nov and he tuned for the 93 oct. He even mentioned that he could tell the difference from this gas and the gas that other people had that day. I had him make me a 91 oct map also. Now if I plan on going somewhere like up in the moutains or down to the Springs I will load the 91 oct map. Its really easy to do with EcuFlash and the Tactrix cable. Not sure where exactly you are, but I could show you how to do it sometime if you want. Then you could decide if you want to do that or not.

You can also save your stock map in case you need to go back to the dealership.

That sounds like a good plan going with the two maps. I live within several miles of the petro stop. I could even run the stock map if I was forced to by only having the 93 or stock map. It is not very often I plan on needing to get 91.

Warr--

I noticed Megan Racing provides the silencer with their exhaust. What is the performance hit for using it?

The performance hit is around 40whp...maybe more. The Megan w/silencer is worse than the full stock exhaust. It's really bad...
