My HC's were too high. I think the limit was 1200 and I scored 1875. HC (Hydro Carbon= unburnt fuel). I emmissioned with all my mods. I've been thinking about taking the Buschur exhaust off and putting the stock exhaust back on and maybe unplugging the SAFCII. My settings on the SAFCII is only leaned out on WOT runs so when not in WOT, it's all set to zero's. Any ideas? Anyone having done or passed emmissions please chime in. I've got 10 days to redue.

Mods:
Buschur turboback exhaust (high flow cat)
Injen intake with upper pipe system
HKS 264/272 cams
SAFCII
Lower intercooler pipe

I put full stock exhaust back on and passed. Everything else I did failed.

Just put the stock cat on and you'll pass.

I say put the hole Stock TBE back on and you should pass. That is why I want to see if someone has E-85 and goes thru with all there mods on and passes.

haha i did this and still failed miserably

i ended up having to go a different route to get the stupid paper that says i passed

I know at least 8 evos that passed as soon as they put there stock exhaust on. I have never seen one fail except yours.

go get some heet run the car down to 1/4 tank and dump about 2-3 bottels in and take the test u will pass!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! then go fill up and take it easy for that tank of fuel !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok guys, I passed emissions today with the stock exhaust. It's good to know I can keep my HKS cams and all other mods except the turboback exhaust. I guess the stock exhaust has to go on every two years for emissions. That's better then having to take out cams every two years.

I gotta order that tactrix cable so I can start learning to flash/tune my own car. Kinda old school with the safcII all these years, gotta get with the new programs. Next week, tactrix cable and jumping on evom to learn about the flash.

How old is this cable? Are you willing to sell for less? I've seen these cables shipped for $70-75 dollars. This is the mitsu cable right, not the universal?
