Injectors for FP Red

Hey everyone. I haven't been on in a while and I'm over in Iraq right now. I'm planning to order an FP Red in a couple weeks so it will be waiting for me when I get home in January. What size injectors are recommended for this turbo? Planning to run 91 oct and race gas. I saw people using everything from 780s to 1000s. Any harm stepping all the way up to 1000s?

I'd go with the 1000s... you'll need the fuel if you are planning on running higher mass flow...

Any recommendations on brands? Do they all have the same connections? I want to avoid any rewiring if possible.. plug and play is what I'm looking for. Maybe they are all like that..

880s should work fine on pump 1000s for a little more head room, depending on boost levels.

Right now I'm planning to run 91 and have another tune for race gas to use at the track. So if I get 1000s would that leave enough room to run E85 if I made the switch later on?

I'd say yes, but Tobz or JustDSM would be a better gauge on that. Do you guys agree?

i'd say no, i'm on a double-pumper and fpgreen 1000cc. Without the double-pumper i'd be maxed out!

Here's a link to Buschur's FP Red results... he's got a 530WHP and is only running 1200cc injectors.

Also do you have an EMS? If not, you should probably look into one for your big power setup!

I would go with 1200's because the chances are that you probably will switch to E-85 and you wont want to buy twice. Plus 1200's will give you room down the road if you want to upgrade bigger.

RC 1200s are great. If your going to mostly run pump or race gas I would stick wih the 1000s for now.
