Just when I thought it was safe...

So we finished up the respray on my Evo a couple weeks ago and the car was looking niiiiceee- so nice in fact that I parked it at home and drove the BMW while the weather was shit and to let the paint fully cure out before having it Xpeled. I THOUGHT that was a good idea- just be a little extra careful so the paint would be perfect before the film was applied.

About three weeks go by, and I maybe drive the car once down to the store or something, otherwise it sits in the garage or out on the street in front of my house.
Three days ago I decide I want to drive the car, and drive it to work etc for the next couple of days...

Yesterday I was at a Starbucks waiting for the wife to show up. I was a little unhappy about the weather yesterday, but there was really nothing that could be done about it. I looked out the window just kinda gazing over the car, checking out the roadgrime etc that was on the paint and thinking I needed to wash it ASAP ... when OH NO! ?!! A DENT on the front fender- No wait- TWO dents!!! not large huge bashed in dents, but two dents that looked like something pushed into it, with very small scratches in the paint as well. I seriously cannot believe this at all, and unlike before, these dents are on the fender crease and the fender is pushed in- going to be pretty much impossible to make perfect again. The headlight looks jacked up and the brand new bumper is pushed down a bit now as well- I literally just fixed it! Same corner my wife hit! Fortunately I dont think there is any actual damage done to the bumper or headlight, its just the fender is pushed in and makes it look completely jacked!

Anyway- enough of the rant- I will post some pics of the undamaged side and the damage a bit later when i have time to upload out of the camera.

This sucks...
