Launch Controll.

Hey all.
How was everyones weekend?

Well I just have a quick question... When I got tunned my launch control was set WAY too low. and I just wanna raise it up. So is there anyone Local here that can do it?

It is set at 4,500 rpms and I want it to be some where in the ball park of around 6,000 rpms.

If there is anyone local to help me out it would be great...

I live close to the Skysox stadium.

I can do it for you... Do you have the cable and software (EcuFlash)? If you do, open your rom in ECUFlash and click on "Stationary Rev limit". Set it where you want it (mine is 5688) and save it and re-flash to car.

If you don't have the cable, I can drop by tmw (Monday) for 5 mins and do it for you...

Cheer-
Erich

Depends on what clutch you are running. I usually set the ACT's @5800 and the Exedy's @ 6250. Of course if your running a differnet turbo that could als change things.

I've told you a bunch of times before we can do this stuff right here in my garage. If you want to drive over today, I can do it in 5 minutes.

Never dump it. You may be slipping it too much, which is causing it to get greasy. Which clutch is it again?

A 6-puck is a pucked clutch - you would absolutely know if you had a pucked clutch, because it's a very aggressive racing clutch that grabs like a beast and is very difficult to get moving from a stop.

The 2600 is only for DSMs and is not made for the Evo. The base organic ACT is the 2900...

Okay then it is a 2900 of some sort and it is a 6 puck, VERY hard pedal, and hard stops. and hills suck.
