Longmont Evos

So I see a few evos around in Longmont. I know most of them but can't figure out who some are.

I have a RR VIII MR with a CarZ sticker on the front doors.
Tobz has a wingless Blue VIII with a CF trunk
George has a silver evo
Ashley has a Blacked out Evo IX MR

But I see a yellow one, and another red one (winged) haven't seen the wingless red yet.

If you're on the forums and I didn't name you in this section, POST Please! Lol

<--- I've got the wingless RR 8

Tobz and I are going to meet for lunch tomorrow if anyone's interested.

Chipolte located on Ken Pratt and Bowen, right next to the Advanced AutoParts.

We're meeting at 1:00 PM, so if anyone else is interested, come join us...

- Steve

Does anyone have a compression kit they could bring this afternoon? I wanted to do a leak test, cause every now and again, when I really push the living p!ss out of my car I get a small scent of coolant. Probably caused by the over spill tank, but I'd rather be safe than sorry.

Does anyone else experience this. I have no white smoke coming out of my exhaust. No signs of leakage around the head gasket. My coolant doesn't look milky, the reservoir tank stays put, and my oil is clean. Maybe it's in my head, I don't know. It's most noticable when I push it hard from a cold start.

Thanx,

- Steve

No head studs, I haven't touched the internals. I'm gonna check the water pump and my hoses today, maybe there's a pinhole leak somewhere.

It happens to me a couple times when I'm spraying and going all out. I have headstuds. I have everything actually. You name it... My leak is from a hairline crack in the top of the radiator. I bet yours is too. Nothing out of the ordinary happens like you said. Just a puff of white smoke from the hood vents for a couple seconds, then it's gone. Few green drops on my fan and radiator. I haven't upgraded to a koyo yet... Guess I should.

I don't get any puffy smoke coming from my hood though. But I wouldn't doubt it could be a radiator crack. I want an ARC Radiator...

Are you talking about a compression tester? If so, I have a brand new one only used twice I could bring for you...

Cheers-
Erich
