March 4, 2007 RMEVO Folow-up Meet / Cruise in Denver

In a sort of a last-minute fervor, I've decided to arrange for an all-inclusive meet and cruise in Denver / Wheatridge. Any attendees to the 1st Annual RMEVO meet in Castle Rock who'd like to extend the morning's activities into the afternoon/evening - whether you live in Denver area or not - are more than welcome to attend.

I've begun to gather interest on Club3G.com, and hope to get a Mitsubishi "melting-pot" of Evo's, Eclipses, and Galants together.
Yes... some will be (*gasp*) V6 powered. (though naturally aspirated ) I also suspect we may see some former Mitsu owners join in the makes they've "moved on to"...
Here's the link to that thread: http://www.club3g.com/forum/showthread.php?t=77221
All info will be available and updated there, so check in as you see fit. I've "cross-promoted" here so the members here won't feel it necessary to join an Eclipse forum just to discuss these plans.

LOCATION
Vincenza's Italian Restaurant and Bakery
8000 W. 44th Ave.
Wheatridge, CO 80033

(Mapquest HERE)

Vincenza's is a member-owned establishment. Greg, the owner, has given his express permission and is opening his doors and providing food & drink. If enough interest is shown, we may gain the use of his "VIP room" and cordon off a parking area in the rear...

Post up any thoughts, questions, and availabilities
. I'll be checking back to gauge the EVOtuners community's interest.

EDIT: added poll to more easily determine who'll be joining us. (Greg would like some idea of how many to expect, I'm sure.)
It allows multiple answers, so you can express interest with option two for now. Pick YES or NO once you're sure.

Thumbs up

Alright then. Thanks for the response!

So far, 47 views... only one response?
(Of course, a few of those could be "guest views" ... I don't know if the counter looks for IPs or usertags.)

Don't be shy to share your thoughts on this "afterparty", guys. Is 2pm too soon? ("evening" was mentioned above) Does everyone expect to stay in Castle Rock for longer than I'd thought?
I'm certainly open to suggestions and, if nothing else, I'm sure we can discuss things further during our time at Chili's.

I'll try to get some maps printed/copied today and bring them for anyone interested in a second gathering and a run through Denver/Golden...

I think 2pm is right. I just don't do cruises - I only race - but I think a lot of others normally like to do that sort of thing.

^So I would think.
If I owned an Evo, and was going to be out and about on a beautiful Sunday like tomorrow anyway, I'd JUMP at the chance to hang out with fellow enthusiasts, chow down on some FREE pizza, and go out for a cruise.

I'm still a little confused why this thread has been viewed over 70 times, but only two responses have been given. The Castle Rock meet should have a pretty good showing, right?
Do most prefer the track as you do, Warrtalon?

Well, I'm getting ready to head to Kinkos to run off copies of maps from Chili's to Vincenza's. They'll be for the taking tomorrow morning...

Damn, Sayno. Don't let some other cruise stop you from attending the first ever Rocky Mountain Evo meet!

I'd have to agree with Warrtalon here, man. I just arranged for this thing as an afterthought given the nice weather that's blessing the 1st annual RMEVO meet. I understand we all have preferences (like Warrtalon and his track racing), but it's an opportunity for this community to become a more cohesive group!

I'd be glad to add another Evo to the mountain trek, however.
