MY AMS Exhaust

So...i bought a used AMS turboback exhaust and today i recieved the CB and TP portion of the exhaust (i bought from three different people, the guy who sold me the dp lied and said he sent it this past saturday but really ended up sending it yesterday). SO anywho i got my CB exhaust and the guy who sold it to me said it was going to come with bolts and gaskets, yahhh neither were in the box with the rest of the exhaust. So my question is, is it worth having ams ship me gaskets (i can buy bolts at any hardware store) or should i see if i can find at the local NAPA? (remember ams has the three hole gasket design different than the stock exhaust with just two). I have tried to contact the seller, but as i have realized throughout the process, it is damn near impossible to do so. IF anyone has any suggestions i would greatly appreciate it.ALso if any of you live in the littleton area and have some free time to lend me a hand putting this bad boy on let me know!

I'm in the area and can give you a hand, but as far as gaskets, unless they are of a universal design, you won't be able to go to the local auto store and pick em up easily. bolts/nuts/washers no problem.

The three bolt gaskets aren't hard to find, just gotta do some looking. You might be able to find them at Napa, Autozone etc...but also try Midas, Mienekie or any other muffler shop. If in the end you can't find them call AMS and they will send you a full set for a reasonable price.

I called AMS and was quoted 10 per gasket (prob not including shipping) which i know i could prob find cheaper around here. Luckily I stopped into napa and was able to find one 3 bolt gasket the right size but i am going to make my rounds to other shops in town to see what i can dig up for the other one. I also bought the bolts so i am good there. I will also try the shops that you mentioned evolvd, around town and will hopefully find another. IF not will probably just have napa order me another one. THanks for the suggestions guys!

The gaskets that AMS uses are 3" header flange gaskets for domestic headers. They're VERY common, however you need to ensure you're not getting some cheapy paper gaskets that'll burn out in no time.

They should be very easy to come by..

I actually had the same problem when I got my exhaust, but I managed to find some at Advanced Autoparts, the alluminum ones, works very good, for about 20 dollars, comes with bolts/2gaskets you should check it out.

Gaskets galore, at On-Track Performance (on Platte and Dartmouth).

JustDSM is correct, it is a standard domestic flange.
