My name is Shanne(said shane just spelled a little different). Yea i know who john is. Ive just seen pictures of his car. Nice though. Yea i ran pretty good on one of my not breaking a Transfercase pass's went 11.9@115 Here in Junction. With the 20G, Racegas, 28psi, 25psi in the tires, Cutout open. I was just waiting for something to break and it finally did.

BTW I have a full 3 inch TBE all the way to the back. Ran a 12.1@112 with the cut out closed then opened it up and got 11.9@115 I dont have a Dyno sheet to prove i made more power but i did do a back to back run. So if anybody was wondering about cutouts. I have no hardcore proof but i have something.

Heres a short video of me racing my buddys supra out here. Then racing my other buddys cobra.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h2NDrtWv7EY

We brought the supra to Denver about 4 or 5 months ago to this supra meet they had, he was going to race a black C6 Z06 but they guy backed out. All i know is that supra is fast as hell, once he gets traction.

Well, of course, I would expect you to make more power with the cutout open. That's why you have it, right? Open downpipe is how we make the most power with the quickest spool, and a cut-out is as close as you can get. Increased trap speeds are the most hard core proof there is...

It's rare to see 11s at this altitude on a stock turbo. I know you have a 20g (assuming it's the big dog 20G-LT), so you did a good job. I could only muster a 12.3 @ 109 on my stock VIII turbo, but then I gained 25whp with the stock IX turbo. However, I can only expect a 12.1 with that extra power, so 11.9 is still a bit out of reach.

Yea LT it is. I just bought a meth kit, so i want to see what i can do with that. I just know alot of people that say well you have a 3 inch TBE your not going to make anymore power if you put a cutout on. So i just wanted to prove it.

Thats good times on a stock VIII turbo. I think the best i got was 12.4 in cali. Are you guys going to be having any meets in Denver or around there soon. Its going to be a little while before i fix the TC and i might send the Trans out with it. Just started my new job so i have to go to training for 2 weeks then i should be good. Would like to meet some Evo guys around here. I have 2 others in Junction one is black 04 the best he ran was 15.1 The other is a white one that belongs to a chick. Neither one of them are that friendly the guy in the black one thinks he shit dont stink. I walked all over him and he said he had a oil leak in his turbo so he was losing lots of power.

Yeah, we just formed up RMEVO.com this year basically, and we've had 3 meets so far. We intend to keep having them every few months, so just stay tuned for announcements.

Myself and a few others also do a lot of racing, so you can check that out, although most of it is out East and South, so it's quite a haul for you.

You're right Laxingirl. Nothing wrong with an EVO belonging to a girl. Another 06 EVO MR owner's down here in the springs is a girl. She and her fiance bought it, but her name is the primary name on the title

And welcome llabmik2! I'm still quite new here too. Hope you can make it to our next meet.
