So how long have you been a Mits guy?

Is the "E" your first Mits, or are you an old school DSM'er?

Any mod's yet? ex: Flash/Tune, Intake,Exhaust,Suspension?

Not new to Mitsu, but new to the EVO

I love this car! No mods yet but have plans. I really want to do more research before I void out my warranty on the car. Definitely will be picking all your brains when it comes to the car.

LOL, i already have a question. When I boost from first my car lets out some cloudy exhaust. I use full synthetic oil. Any ideas why this is happening?

Anyway its great to meet you guys, Jordan thanks for the invite, Hopefully I will see you on the road.

Evo's run extremely rich on the top end with the stock tuning. One of the most cost effective first modifications is a tune. Not that I'd know anything about that

Tune or lean it out with more boost. Hallman set at 21 psi did me good for about a year.

Welcome to the site, and to the EVO community. What part of Hawaii have you lived in or visited? I'm a Big Island boy myself.

I have been to Kawai, not hawaiian, but hawaiian at heart. I know alot of the local bruddahs and local families here that made me part of their family. I still have asian pride, Half Thai/Half White.

I am stationed up at the Academy

So will a tune void out the warranty. The only reason I am so worried about the warranty is because this car is my daily driver and I don't want to start loading it up then blow the engine, then I have to ride a bicycle in the snow

When I find out more I do want to put on a bigger intercooler (any suggestions), turbo back exhaust, and then finish it up with remapping the ECU.

Does this sound like a good start??

Thanks for the advice and help. Any meets coming up. I know some of the guys from AWDPirates in the springs are doing something Saturday. I would really like to see more evo's out there. The Subes have a really strong presence, I want to break that down LOL,

Best first mods:

TBE
MBC
Tune

Nothing, and I mean nothing will ever give you so much RELIABLE power as those three things. Hands down the most cost effective power you will ever get from your car.

Voilding the warranty is the easiest thing to do to theese vehicles. They use just about anything for an excuse.

As far is intercoolers go, Buschur delux, and AMS are two heavy hitters. I am on a budget and founs the ETS 3" core to suit my needs best.
The exhaust is a matter of personal preferance, every manufacturer makes a pretty good product. I run a Megan TBE now, but that is soon to change. I have the Invidia N1 ready for install. Lookin to dump the Megan pretty cheap (shameless plug) 2 bills for all.

If your interested in a base flash to even things out. Throw JustDSM a pm. He'll put you on the right track.

Good to have you here.

I leave for Kauai tonight. It'll be my 1st time there, any suggestions? Hot spots, must see's?
