Okada Plasma direct

Does anyone have information on this product for the evo. I have read minimal information on it. The July issue of Dsport magazine has a little info on this product but it was for an sti test and tune. The results were some what impressive.

Ignition products. Looks questionable to me.

There is a dyno sheet on the site actually. It's under the Direct module. Seems interesting. I'd be excited to hear if anyone has tried it or seen it?!

I can understand why this sounds questionable. I was thinking about putting it on my car. I am trying to get as much info as possible other than the company itself and one article.

What do you want to do with it? It's not something I'v seen Evos use, and Dsport is not a place I'd trust when deciding on mods.

This is just observation but the Okada Coil Packs make me very skeptical. They look like an OEM coil pack with their sticker on it. I'd have to see someone actually buy these and show some gains with it to be convinced otherwise.

I am a little skeptical as well. That is why I am trying to get as much infor as possible before spending $500- $600 dollars. On the article I read they it was dyno proven for 25hp and 35tq. This was with a retune due to the fact it made the car run lean. I also noticed that they gaine .4 of boost. I don't know. The more I read the article again and again it sounds like the good better combustion but turned the boost up to make gains.

From what I have been reading on EVOM about these and I have emailed a few different shops about them is that they do work and good to around 600 HP or so. They work with either the stock ECU or a stand alone and are plug and play. For a 400 bucks they seem to be a good deal. There isn't though alot of cars that have them on them.

They are legit and work. I have a few pics of some cars in japan that have a sticker or two with Okada's name on them. So I don't think that any of the cars there would put junk parts on their car. But in my case soon to be pushing more HP my ignition will need to be redone and the only option is BUschurs COP package which is 1000. There is the Ebay Cop that some guy makes and does a great job from what I have heard and iFARTED on EVOM on his 1041 hp evo runs this guys COP's. his are a bit cheaper by 100 or 200. It's a tough one for me.

I have heard about the HKS twin fire but I don't know anything about it nor what I need for my setup, if anybody could tell me that would be cool. I am looking to get something soon to help deliver better spark.

You can get these for $360 on EVOM, just look around on the vendor deals.
