Possible exhaust leak/shop in Boulder area?

Hey guys,

So havent posted here in a while, but Im pretty sure my car has developed an exhaust leak. Motor has been consistently been getting louder from the engine bay, but have not had a chance to check it yet.

My question is, If tomorrow when I get a chance to check it out and am unable to fix it, what shop do you guys recommend taking the car to? Some place around boulder is preferable, but if I have to take it to denver or something, its no big deal. I was thinking superrupair, but they are always super busy. Any thoughts? Thanks guys.

Alec

take it down to Carz Performance in lakewood. The number is 720-214-5095, I highly recommend them.

I support Carz or Street Concepts. Only two shops in Dnever IMO, that I will trust my car with.

No go on Street Concepts, a customer there had an exhaust made that rubbed a hole in his t-case because it wasn't measured correctly.

That is funny I have the exhaust from Thomas from SC and No problems there. Who is the guy you are talking about?

can't remember his name. I dunno just a personal opinion. I've owned an Evo longer than he's owned his shop and since day one I haven't been impressed.

I have the megan TBE, but i think the leak is probably around the top of the downpipe. There is definitely something wrong that has developed in the past few days. The car is LOUD lol, it actually sounds mean as hell, but its too loud now. Full throttle is just obnoxious and draws a little tooo much attention...especially with the 9million cops driving the streets of boulder. I talked to carz this morning and set up an appointment for next thursday, but If possible Id like to see about fixing it sooner.

Brp - pm sent

Thanks guys

Ok guys....So got some time to check out the exhaust just now and low and behold the two bolts holding the down pipe up to the 02 housing are GONE The whole pipe was just chillin out there not even connected!

Anyone know what size the two bolts are so I can go pick em up? Also is there a gasket between these two? I didnt have a flashlight so couldnt see if the gasket was still there or not.

Call Lucas he might know. I am not sure on the bolt size. What aren't those bolts the ones with the springs on them? Anyone?
