There we three of us in a three block area off of Colorado and Almeda. Two black and one red, the red one was just purchased by a guy named Steve who said he frequents here. The other black one pulled up next to me and waved and then jetted off to Cherry Creek.
I then saw another one near Johnson and Wales University.
Wasn't expecting that today when I took my car out.

Nugget, what up man, it's Steve. Just wanted to say hi, and compliment you on your new purchase. You MR looks badass. Many Compliments. But next time we drag, we should do it on a back street. I was a little scared of getting busted on Colorado Blvd, and I'm sure the other drivers around us were a little surprised. Nonetheless, your car pulled on me after first gear. I think the variable valve timing and being lighter in weight is what probably did it. For the first couple of seconds I think I was a hair in front of you, but once I hit second gear you were ahead of me. I was surprised to say the least. Regardless, give me another month of learning how to drive this beast and we'll take another wack at it. You'll probably still beat me, but I might give you a better run for you money. Hope to see you at our next meet.
- Steve

I didn't even consider that a race. I was in second gear the whole time, so had to wait for it to spool up. I have a feeling the exhaust scared the people more than anything. The funny thing was there was a cop at co and 8th.
I will take you on a couple drives in the mt to get use to it. I am still getting use to mine.
I will pm you my number so we can figure something out.

Nugz, it was just two Evo owners showing off. That's all.
To be honest, I still haven't taken her above 6,000 rpms. I'm still getting use to the new clutch and don't want to destroy my baby after only having her for 2 weeks.
I'm planning a mountain drive here in the next month or so, hopefully you'll be around for that. Anyhow, take it easy, hope to see you on the streets again.
Showing off is an easy thing to do in that car. It was fun to play a little, don't get too many worthy advesaries. Definitely take a look at awd pirates, they do alot of get togethers, there are several evo guys that come out as well.
Definitely look forward to the drive. Keep me posted.

Nugz, RMEVO has plenty of meets, there's one coming up on March 2nd if you're interested. Regardless, I've heard good things about AWD Pirates and I even have an account over there. But to be honest with you, I'm not interested in any other cars right now. Most of the guys on AWD pirates are Subie owners, which is cool but not the sort of guys I want to talk to when I'm looking to do some mechanical work on my car. It would be interesting though to have an STi / EVO mountain cruise. Maybe I'll try working on it.
