Shaun_B's Before/After

Shaun_B explained that he bought the car as is w/ the following modifications:

Injen Intake w/ Upper IC Pipe
Buschur Racing FMIC (I think it was a Deluxe)
Forge RS BOV
Buschur TBE (w/ Bullet muffler)
Forge MBC (18psi? later turned to 21psi)
Walbro Fuel Pump
Buddy Club 264 Camshafts
Custom Flash from a well known flash tuner, done somewhere in California.

Did a baseline pull. AFR's were pretty much spot on, just a few spots needed adjustment. Timing was a little aggressive in the midrange and was knocking.

Loaded up my basemap and went to work. My basemap picked up like 20whp/20wtq. I was almost afraid it was too spot on! But I was able to massage it some more. I was able to get 310whp/313wtq (Might be off 1-2hp/tq) out of it. Seeing everything was as it needed to be, I did another pull right after that one to confirm everything was good to go with zero cool down between runs.

Here's the result, over his baseline pull.

PS: Thanks to Lucas and the Saturday crew at CarZ Performance for having me down. I look forward to getting my car on your dyno

I guess you got to it before me. haha. Here is what I was going to post:

I'd first like to thank Justin for rescheduling me since I wasn't going to be able to make it to the meet rescheduled to the 13th. The car had a street tune done originally. The difference now that Justin tuned it is amazing!! Not only did he get a lot more power out of the car, the power curve feels great! I could even notice the difference just cruising around and lightly stepping on the gas. Justin is a cool guy and I will definitely be going back to him when I start adding new parts. I'll probably attend other dyno days just to see what he can do for others. Thanks again Justin!!

Here is the initial dyno sheet:

Look forward to you working on it again.

*Update: Had some more time to drive around. Even my fiance noticed the difference in the power from the passenger seat. haha. She noticed that the car is much smoother now too.

Wow, really nice gains out of that tune! Good work Justin!

Sure looks like there is a big difference from the 03-06 evo's especially at this altitude. I put down 295whp/272wtq bone stock with just the pill nearest to the BCS removed (hit 19.7 psi falling to 16 at redline). Wonder what an IX would put down with those mods!

On what dyno? If yours was done at MAC (Which I suspect) this dyno, at this power level reads about 50-60whp lower than MAC.

I dyno'ed at carz also. Now that I have my MBC I think I could put down 350 at mac, or about 310-315 at carz :P
