i am just saying this in reference to people that don't know what they're doing and they still work on their own cars to save money! some people are good to work on their own cars but others lack that section in their brains.

Or you can take Option C and have a local guy do your tune ups for you since the dealer WAY overcharges for simple oil/gear lube changes. That is of course if you're not comfortable with doin it yourself. An alignment is pretty cheap.

I'm still baffled why people think it's so expensive to own an Evo...but then again I can do most of my own maintenance (including major parts changes).

Just make sure that you have a good job and some money behind you if something happens. Hey I am 21 years old and I just got 06 with 3k miles. And Warrtalon, just dont answer things that you dont know. If you dont know a job that can pay for the evo then dont answer. I pay for my evo by beeing a mechanic, and my friend by being a bouncer. There are a lot of jobs out there, you just got to work and not stand around and hope your parents are going to buy you an evo. Just put your mind to it and do it.
