I believe it stands for "safety restraint system", and it's your airbag light. It doesn't necessarily mean that the system doesn't work... and usually isn't considered a big deal. Mine has been on since I install my TEAS suspension controller, when I disconnected the battery. I called the dealer and they said it was $75 to turn it off. Keep in mind that all this info is from the dealer... so take my info lightly
