Tobz = Consistency, Repeatability, Reliability, and POWER
Ok, so last night at Bandi was boring. How boring? Well, as boring as it gets with doing 5 straight runs within .025 (yes, 25 thousandths) of a second in both lanes. No personal records broken, but I'm basically at my personal driving limit for the power I currently have. I cannot be more pleased with how the car is performing...over and over and OVER again. It's like I have an automatic at this point. Here are last night's runs.
Last week's best:
1.654--4.793--7.435/93.97--9.704--11.627/118.60 (left lane)
This week:
1.654--4.793--7.435/91.30--9.699--11.633/113.46 (right - almost identical splits but way lower traps)
1.661--4.801--7.438/91.20--9.709--11.649/112.99 (right - just about identical but more low traps)
1.688--4.799--7.436/94.30--9.716--11.649/119.34 (left - huge trap that is too high)
1.709--4.831--7.463/91.51--9.723--11.654/113.62 (right - track starting losing its stick at this point)
1.676--4.811--7.456/94.52--9.732--11.658/119.74 (left - notice this was a better 60', but the above run was quicker despite the huge trap discrepancy)
I had a few missed shifts on other runs, but the only full run that wasn't as close as these was an 11.69 due to a spinning 1.73 60' (late in the evening, the launch pad is useless), but even with the poor 60', I still stayed in the 11.6s. I have my knock CEL set to 4 and did not have it come on once. I don't even bother logging at this point, because it's so consistent. I logged last week with no knock and ran the same exact times.
Tobz didn't do so poorly himself with consistent 12.1s, but he's still getting his own tune to the point mine is at thanks to his hard work.
