I opened a Rhino Linings shop 1 year ago. Well Rhino has slowed down a little and the import tuning and repairing is going awesome. We have been really busy.
We are now all selling all kinds of parts and doing all kinds of work. I'm doing most of the work with help from my mechanic whos had over 10 years in the DSM world.
The white and silver evos were tuned that day and getting cleaned up before delivery.
The black se 9 was in getting a clutch job.
The grey one is Brandens (the poster) and of course the blue one is mine. The 1 g in the back is also getting a clutch job. Theres also a few more Evos outside they didnt take pictures of.
It's not my preference to go with springs due to the possibility - and for most, likelihood - of blowing the stock shocks and messing up the handling by improperly changing the suspension dynamics. However, as a compromise for those who don't want coilovers, there are some excellent springs made specifically for the Evo to improve handling while staying within the limits of those dynamics. That would include Swift, Robispec, GTWorx, Works, etc. The Tanabes do not fall into this category. I was hoping he hadn't ordered his yet so that maybe he could decide on a set that both improves handling, was built specifically to work with the stock shocks, has the proper spring rates, and slightly lowers the car a proper distance (front and rear) to lower the center of gravity. Often times, people only focus on the "lowering" aspect as evidenced by referring to them as lowering springs. Unfortunately, that is not their intended purpose...or rather, it is my opinion that should not be the purpose.
