MmmMm twin turbo... Delicious! Don we need to set up something soon, I'll let you know further details here shortly because I think I'm gonna need a new clutch here VERY soon, so I'll get one before the dyno. I went and ran at CSP today by the way and it ran like a champ!

Excellent! Glad to hear its working well for you. Give me a ring tomorrow and we will definitely set something up.

Yeah, the car is a single turbo 3.4 right now, but I am probably going to do a twin turbo 3.6 and sell all the single turbo stuff.

Teh Nasty is right Clay- think an easy 700whp in a 1900lb car....

Right- the 930 engine is a horizontal 6-cylinder air-cooled engine. The exhuast exits straight down under the engine, the turbo header runs underneath the engine to the back, where the turbos bolt directly to it. In the 935 and single turbo 934 engines the rest of the "exhuast" is a simple 90deg bend exiting under the cars rear bumper. The first picture is a set of GHL headers for a single turbo- pretty much what I have now. The second is a TT motor built by the guys over at Protomotive and is pretty close to the new turbo setup the 911 will be running. Theres actually nothing wrong with the single, but going twin gets much better spool and a lot more airflow- the last TT race Porsche I built for a customer made 748whp@ 1.2 bar and weight just over 1800lbs. I am not sure I can get that light- maybe 1900-2000lbs, but it should be adequate.

EDIT: That Protomotive engine is in a street car and as such has mufflers and slightly different exhuast manifolds. My turbos will be mounted at the back of the engine as in the picture above with no mufflers.
