WHat FMIC to get?

Looking of replacing the stock one. One of the concerns I have is not modifying the front bumper. I would like to retain all stock piping. Let me know what you guys think.

I have an AMS IC, and it works great. But the ETS 4" is good to like 800 Hp or something and its the same price if not cheaper than the AMS one good too only 650.

My next IC ETS.

I believe the ETS one is the ONLY intercooler that does not require any cutting or grinding of the undertray or bumper support. They have sizes ranging from 3-5 inches none of which require any modifications.

Cheers-
Erich

I recently had the ETS 3.5" FMIC installed. It looks great, fit like a glove (no modifications), and it dwarfs the stock FMIC. It bolts to the stock piping if you wish, but I put on ETS Upper and Lower IC pipes at the same time, then promptly ran some 11s!

sounds like everyone is liking the ETS. What size should I go 3"? What kind of #'s do you think I would see. I'm pretty much stock plus some boost and a tune. Would this require a new tune as well?

P.S. Anyone recommend one place over another to order?

Thanks for the help guys.

Adam

1) Almost 0 help if you're near stock. Why is it you plan to replace it? You didn't say...

2) You wouldn't see a change in numbers most likely.

3) Would not REQUIRE a re-tune, but that would be the only way to optimize the benefits of an FMIC upgrade

4) Revolutions Performance in the Springs and Carz in Denver

I would go with Carz talk to lucas. By the way I have a turbo XS and I love it. I believe Carz has another one in stock plus they are cheap compared to most FMIC.
