It's all debatable. If I wanted to save money and have a bigger IC I suppose I'd go with the Ebay copy. If I wanted a trusted product with actual on-car testing and proven results I'll spend the extra dough.

Since I think we've pretty much beat this dead horse I suggest that the OP gets whatever he feels comfortable with.

Which means he's only cheating himself. A proper FMIC would make more power and do it much more efficiently. The worst argument you can make about a mod like this is, "Hey, look how much power XXXX is making." Well duh, of course it's making a lot of power. It's not like the Ebay FMIC keeps you from making power - it just keeps you from making as much power as you should.

If Lucas actually has an Ebay FMIC on his race car after the testing that has been done showing how inferior it is to a proper FMIC (especially on a big setup like that), then I would have to throw my hands in the air and ask, "Why?"
