I plan on running NOS and alot of NOS too so much NOS it will be coming out my nose. But that is after I build my bottom end because I am already at the HP limits of the bottom end or soon to be once I get my car and if I hit the NOS button I will be sure to break a rod.

NAWS rules......ricer for life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

NOS, you don't need no stinking NOS....if AMS can run a 8.5 with out NOS, then why use it besides that it is cheap/easy HP.

I'm not going to blow up my car... I just don't believe that you have to throw money at your car to make power.

The car i was talking about earlier with stock turbo and spray was going low 11's at 124ish. I bet he had $2000 in power mods. Now, how fast has everybody here gone on $2000 in power mods???

and for those of you that are thinking that he probably only went one pass at that power level... i saw him up there running 3 different events and he was running very consistent times.

RS's don't blow motors, only VIII's and the MR's are prone to blowing motors. See you thought I was dummy for buying a car without power windows/locks or a trunk liner.

HA HA BAM the jokes on you!!!! RS's rule. NAWS all the wayy baby.

I've been running E85 for a couple weeks now. But I have not driven the car that much because of the weather and roads.

I've gone though 1 tank now, mostly tuning and playing. The power is great. I ve been peaking 29 psi with no knock. I'm running a little rich and have a little more tuning to do before I'm really done. Boost seems to come on a lot stronger. My alcohol kit is gone and love E85!

I'll be right there with you soon, Brian.

Colo_Evo, I don't know about the rest here, but I know all about the car you're referring to. He did a great job of going fast with nitrous, but he does have a ton into the car. He was only barely faster than my car is now (stock turbo + bolt-ons + alky) when he was still on a 50-shot. Ok, actually, he was only barely QUICKER (ET), but it was a good bit faster (MPH). Once he went to the big shots and added some more mods (i.e. FMIC), he started to get really fast. It was extremely dangerous though with running such a big shot. No one else in the country even does that, but he managed to do it and do it often while also driving very well. The car now has a massive turbo, built motor, plus nitrous, but he's having trouble getting it dialed in - anyone would with such a huge setup.

He has hit 10.9 or 10.8's I beileve. Justin you know what he ran. we were there and he did not hit the button. she he is alot faster with all the mods now. I use to us NOS on my Mustang but I had a 2 stage 200 shot and I can tell you from my point it is not fun when it goes. It is really bad feeling when it breaks or even back fires......Man I still think about that night. I almost craped my pants....lol I like Nos but only little shot to bring the temp down, much safer. Just so everyone understands I have a lead foot and I give it all when I go to the track so that is why I blew it up. I pulled the tires off the ground for the last time. makes me sick when I sold her.

Yeah, he busted 10s on the new setup without nitrous, but it's still not nearly as fast as it should be for such a big turbo. It's simply not easy to get everything 100% right at that level of modification. Once he does get it sorted out, then he can start hittin' the bottle again.

Who are you talking about? Mark? White Evo?

Tenorgod Shane, had a 75 shot which was producing around 140-150 to the wheels. We then ran race gas and a stronger map and made about 170 increase. Right around 500 hp to the wheels. The bottom end could not handle the amount of stress for too long. Brian same setup on his Silver 8, with similar mods made similar power increases. His bottom end failed also.

I think if your car was making around 330 hp and you sprayed the 50 shot, (about 100 hp) you would be OK, but for how long would be the question. I would like to see a Evo run the 50 shot for a while and see how it turns out. 75 shot is too much for a stock car to run.

I just installed a nitrous intercooler sprayer and will be doing some testing and reports on the power gains I see. I'll keep you up to date.

Yea tobz let me know on the intercooler sprayer. I am looking at that further down the road. Right now I need cams and head stud and also a clutch to keep everything going.
