I would suggest another gauge pod. I just installed mine the other day, fitment is not all that great. I tried 3 different kinds of double sided tape to get it to stay put and it still rubs the back of the steering wheel when you turn it.

I actually had this pod installed on my 03 and i thought it worked out rather well, I used the screws provided and it fit just fine, no double sided tape for me. You can always buy a replacement for the OEM cover if you are worried about having those 2 holes on the side of the cover.

lol ya, they are kinda like plugs that will fit right in there and you shouldnt even really see them once installed. I would call autometer on that one..

Like a glove. Plastic plugs work great. When you drill the holes out you have to make sure you have good clearance so it doesnt rub on the back of the steering wheel. Once thats done there great, and a great price. I can get them for 35.

I prefer the RMR carbon fiber gauge pod myself but it's a bit pricier. The CF looks really good on top of the steering column, I've had a lot of compliments on it.

Here's the best pic I have of it right now. It fits very well and mounts with two screws that go through the bottom of your stearing wheel cover. You see absolutely no pins, tabs or any other mounting points when it's installed. In my opinion it looks much cleaner than the Autometer piece as it's a smooth carbon fiber look whereas the AM piece looks like cheap plastic (lol, kinda like the OEM interior). One other thing, the RMR piece only blocks your view of the odometer and nothing else. The AM piece blocks the first few numbers on your tach.
