Bolt on mods that I can do without tune

What mods can I do without necessarily getting a tune? I was thinking ams's package deal of a 3inch downpipe and cat together for 900, a type s blow off vavle(I know it doesn't help the performance but will be needed down the road), lower springs, boost gauge, and a wideband. Now some may be wondering way I don't want to get a tune and its simple because there is no good shops out here in HI. I'm stationed out here for 2 more years and just want to do some basic mods and wait till I get back to FL to really get deep into the performance.

standards for evos many go as follows:
Boost gauge, TBE, Intake, Boost control, BOV if you have a evo 8, IC pipes, FMIC, fuel Pump, tune.

Trust me get a tune. you may not have any tuners out there but you can get a tune from someone with the same mods and load it to your car yourslef with a tactrix cable and ecuflash. I reccomend a boost gauge, TBE. If you do a intake your mafs needs to be scaled and that is done with a tune. you will not be reaping any of the benefits of any performance prodcts without a tune though. save your money from the springs and get coilovers. the type-s BOV is no longer in production unless your getting a ebay knockoff or buying a used original. I own type-s and have to say skip it and get the Perrin BOV. the type-s goes thru a diaphragm almost every year. a true greddy one is $80. save your money and get the perrin, best bov i ever have used and made my car run so much better.
