Bov??

The car i recently got has a greddy type s bov, which flutters when shifting, but the bov also has a vacum port which is not connected anywhere, while the car is running i can feel air coming out of the port, so should there be a vacum hose connected there, and if so where should the vacum line be connected to? I know on my dsm the vacuum port from the bov is connected to another vacuum port on the inake...what about the evos, where does the bov vacuum port connects to? BTW i know about the whole single spring conversion done on the type s bov..

the diaphragm is probably shot. you do not need the single spring mod to run the type-s it just cant be adjust hard at all. You only need to use the top vaccum port. the lower one does not need to be hooked up and if your feeling air coming out of it you should do a boost leak test and see if its truely leaking. the vac line actually comes off the intake mani. the type-s is one of the best BOV's except for the diaphragm. i just replaced mine, but i swap back and forth between my type-s and turbosmart.
