Question Can i run just my downpipe?

Ok well im coming out of a 98 gsr integra . I had a rev hard turbo setup on it and didnt run any exhaust system just a downpipe and a flange to direct the heat down to the ground. I live in vegas but on my side of town there is not many cops , i know it would be loud but would i have any overheating issues due to no backpressure ? Any reliabilty issues also . Im bored off from work today and i wanna do somethig to my car

Buy a Buschur racing Catless Turbo Back Exhaust, run it and you will not see a difference of power between a DP and a whole turbo back.

This isn't a Honda, run a full exhaust.

Your bottleneck will be your stock catback exhaust. You will not be getting full advantage of the dp you install. There are a few "quiet" or not so loud systems that offer the full 3" piping from downpipe and back. Some tuners like Buschur, will tell you to mod your exhaust system from the rear to front, to start with. More efficient and you will most likely feel the difference.

Research is free so use it. Save your money for a good system for your Evo or at least something that you will be happy with . It's a whole different machine than your old Honda, so think differently with your modding plans.
