Does the 2007 Honda Accord SE-V6 have an active or passive security system standard?

I am trying to buy insurance and I need to know how to answer the following question: Does the car have an anti-theft system that will disable the ignition, fuel system, etc?

wow really? you came on a mitsubishi evolution forum looking for answers on a 07 honda accord? I dont own one so i can't comment, but i wil say this, most newer cars ignition systems have immobilizers in them and if the car is attempted to start so many times without the proper key, it can disale the ignition. you will want to contact honda and speak with them regarding the vehicle you are trying to insure, have your VIN handy so they can tell you eactly what you have.

On another note sell your honda and buy a evo!

The answer that youre looking for should actually be stated in your owners manual. I could be wrong, but honestly Google OR a Honda/Honda Accord forum would be your best bet for finding the answer. SLOCHO answered your question though.

We dont turn many people away here BUT, most people with different cars relate to the Evo in some sort of way...like the STI. So im locking this thread.
