fmic over heat

has any body ever had a problem with your car over heating in traffic from to large of an intercooler blocking radiator. i had this problem in my 2g gsx. it really sux! have any evos had this problem? also has any body used the injen fmic kit?

I have never heard of that happening to any Evos. I would also not recommend that Injen FMIC for an Evo. HKS or Buschur racing offer a good one that are more ideal for our car.

It's not a problem on the Evo.

I recommend Buschur, AMS, or Nisei for an FMIC, but I don't recommend one at all unless you have an upgraded turbo or are running big boost on the stock turbo (25+).

the front end of a 2g doesnt look like it has nearly the airflow capabilities of an evo. where the nose of a 2g is rather small, the great big gaping hole of the evo lets a lot more airflow through it.

Not to mention the big honkin vent in the hood lets heat escape.
