FP red turbo??

I'm looking for an Fp red turbo for my evo IX, does anyone have any suggestions?? I know how hard they are to find and that they sell out in minutes everywhere. but does someone have one and maybe have some advice on how to find one, and what kind of injectors you used with it. I would really like it before winter hits.....thank you to anyone with any ideas.

You buy them from FP directly or through Buschur...other main shops might be sourcing them, too, but there aren't really any available. You can get on the wait list with FP/BR, or look for a used one.

Injectors depend on the fuel you use and how much boost you run as well as other mods that affect airflow (fuel requirements).

forced performance said it would be 2-3 weeks, but i've had people tell me that means months.... do you reccomend another turbo kit? I've just read a lot of good things about the fp red, and i'd just need springs and retainers and those injectors.

I've had my Red on since Sept and couldn't be happier.

I had Tobz do an E85 tune. He recommended RC 1200cc Inj's and a Double Pump. I went with the Buschur, but in hind-sight, I would weigh the advantages of the new "Full Race" Double Pump housing.

If you return the Original Fuel Pump Assembly for $150 core credit to Buscher or AWDMotorSports, then the Buschur is cheaper by about $150.

But, if (like me), you decide to hang on to the Stock Fuel Pump Assembly

(... I dunno .... for good luck ???)

Then the Full Race becomes a very attractive option ... and it's real purdy too :-D
