how to tell if i have knocks?

how can u tell if u have knocks?

i am doing 23 peak -> 22psi with 3" exhaust, walbro fuel pump, and dynoflash. can i turn up the boost more?

without using a det monitor, you are limited to feel.

As boost goes up the chance of det goes up to. At some point the power curve crosses as the extra boost causes enough ignition retard that the engine starts going down on power.

without any intruments you could time a run, add boost and make another run. if the time you save isn't noteworthy, why bother.
You can often feel the car "stuttering" as timing is being pulled.

in any event, my feeling is, you need to proceed as if you are playing with fire and have dumped a can of gas right behind you.

Opps, I just noticed... It may not work for you since you have Dynoflash. It's not clear how the timing will react.

I would certainly not raise it higher than 23psi. I would LOWER it on pump gas.
