I was curious to see what ppl thought / have seen about the Perrin Stealth Front mount. I'm looking to upgrade from the stock core. I have heard alot of recomendations to go with the Buschur Race core for roughly $150 more.
my tuner does a lot of research on every part. he went with the perrin overall, not the stealth though. he said from flow, temp, and dyno data. the perrin cools better and is great for just about anysetup with a stock frame size turbo and a little bigger. I would also consider the cbrd FMIC. I had the AMS and it was nice but I dont like the look of it. Swapped out to a turboxs which does fine for me.

I wish... thats my mistake... i was trying to set-up my account quickly at work ... its an 03 EVO... I'm thinking about going with the perrin. I am not looking forward to the bumper modification following an install of the Buschur race core.
its cool i was just looking and was like damn how did i miss a rs model for 03. the perrin fits without modifying the bumper or the undertray. my turboxs requires the undertray mod.
is there any difference between the two perrin front mounts in terms of performance?? The dimensions are the same... both bar and plate design.... same price...
Why not go all out and get the Buschur?It isn't that much effort to modify the bumper.
Anyways like SicLanEvo stated there is no difference..Same core width,height,and thickness..The stealth is obviously derived from it being black..But wtf if you have a white Evo? not so stealthy then huh?

I agree the evo is not a stealth looking car. about the only thing you can do to be a little noticable is take the wing off. the perrin is an awesome peice. Do you need to modify the bumper or just the undertray.
I actually think its just the undertray..Which Buschur sells one with and I'm sure if you asked they would throw it in with the BFIC for a little cheaper..But not sure Dave is a hard ass..

^^lol yeah i just took my undertray off, but i wish i would have gone perrin, no mods needed at all. tell dave that i will be coming for a built 4b11t long block once i get my X sometime this year. I'm planning a mean build and I think there block is the only one I'm going to go with.

I think Buschur is the BEST Evo parts maker and DSM one too..There shortblocks hold up to like 1000+awhp!Thats crazy...I have a mod list over on HBF that you should check out its pretty much a full build..
