you say your spooling at like 5600rpm right? are you feeling the spool, or is your boost gauge your only reference to it trying to boost? if your not feeling it boost, but its still spooling, i would think your turbo is on its way out. thats about all i can think of. the intake should not have that big of an effect if any at all. just my $.02
