intercooler sprayer

What up guys?!? I have an 05 evo rs so therefore I don't have an intercooler sprayer. I was wondering if I should invest in one? Does it really make that much of a difference in power or cooling?

Think about it. The Evolution evolves, which means it gets better each time. If Mitsu removed it, then it's a safe bet you don't need it. In place of that useless feature, you got a very sophisticated device called the Active Center Differential. It's far, FAR more valuable than the IC sprayer. Concentrate your money on helpful items.

I love my IC sprayer but i would rather have the ACD, you can always invest in a CO2 sprayer. The IC sprayer is a great feature but not necessary.

You'll make more power putting that money elsewhere.

Exactly correct.

The IC sprayer does make a difference, and Europe and Asia market cars still have it along with the ACD (and the SAYC that we don't get). But that being said, it is not worth the money to retro fit it onto the car. It is only useful under sustained heavy load conditions (road racing, rally racing) with no effect at all daily driving, and minimal impact drag racing or autocrossing.

yep, he is right. also the issue here: all around the world here is the lowest price you have to pay for the evo. usa market/ subaru sti selling/ forced mitshubishi to don't take out all stuff what they put into the orig. evo everywhere else. the intercooler sprayer is not that important if you driving on the street below the speed limit. BUT it is make difference ! all rally car have it or most turbo charged sort run racing cars have it./not drag racers, for 10 sec or so/ and there is the reason why they have it, when they try to be as light as they can!
