Question Max Boost on Stock Turbo

Hello, I have evo 8 2005 with few mods(Apexi 3"/4.5" tip full turboback exhaust, Apexi Air Intake, Agency Power BOV, and HallMan Boost contr with gauge). Iam running 18/19 psi right now, and what would be the max boost for me right now on 92oct?

My suggestions:

- 21psi max spike
- Get tuned immediately. Doesn't make much sense to mod without tuning, and having that intake without a tune is bad news
- Sell the Agency Power BOV and get a proper one like the JDM MR DV or Forge RS

Btw, if you want to get tuned this weekend and are near Seattle, Dynoflash is there all weekend doing custom flashes and base flashes for Northwest Evos.

Once the car is tuned you can probably be more aggressive, but I wouldn't go much over a 20psi spike without tuning. The car IS fat in alot of areas of the fuel map, but is still prone to knock in certain areas of the map (thx mitsubishi).

I agree that tuning is key, there are a lot of companies available and probably some local to you. I would suggest if you have the money to get a full dyno tune done, but if cash is limited you can always do the mail in.

Good luck.
