It basically explains it itself. Remote controlled from silent to loud. If u want it loud, thens all you gotta do is change the controls from within your vehicle. But then again, who would want it silent in the first place? Turbocharged cars are known to make lots of numerious noises and that is how you can tell it is turbocharged depending on make and model. I know Evo*s are performed better off without and kind of blow off valvle noise because its not supposed to vent any air into the atmosphere. A diverter valve meanin basically the same as a recirculation BOV is best for the Evo. Although I'd honestly prefer as much noise as a supra would make on my evo. I wouldn't mind a Supra one day because those cars are thee legend of turbocharged cars and N/A. If you have a turbocharged car, of course you want it to sound like it means it. As long as your cars functioning right and still does sound good? Go for it! But my car sounds all motor right now and I have the jdm mr dv *bov*. The BOV that you are mentioning above probably isnt a Diverter or will maybe make the Evo not run smoothly. But yea, it does suck to not have any verbal sound coming from a turbocharged high performance car.

Remove the stock airbox and put on a cone-type filter if you want to hear the DV more easily.

I have the Buschur air filter and the DV is quite noticeable...

My loudass fully-recirculating BOV annoys me.

It's nearly the same valve as the GFB Stealth FX. Only difference being to adjust how much air is recirc-d versus how much is vented you no longer need to get out of the car and change it manually.

What a waste of hard earned money! Just get the forge RS (If you want the best) for 189 and a cone filter for 80 and you have the same amount of sound......

05evo, so far none of the responses to this tell you how well it works because most know that a full recirculating BOV/CBV works the best. Anything else is a gamble. Good luck to ya.
