Oil Catch tanks

Anyone gotta oil catch tank in there evo? Just curious if anyone got this or not. Read that it's a good idea in case oil should leak anywhere especially the intake.

It just catches oil from the crankcase/the vents on the valve cover. The main one is the side by the battery/BOV because that one is routed back to the intake. The oil then end up in the intercooler and recuces it efficency.

The oil that seeps past the piston ring called "blow by" is responsible for the oil build up in the intake track. An oil catch can is something I've thought about buying later to protect my investment but not anytime soon since my money can go to better parts for more power. With that said I've always thought that weapon R had a good idea of mounting their catch can on the factory strut bar but i can't confirm their quality. Or you can just be getto and make one out of a 20 oz bottle.

actually your best bet for the evo would be to get a dual canister type catch can. There is a catch can out ther called the DC3 it will come up on any search you do.

I have the DC3 and love it. I need to take some pictures of my installation, but my digicam is busted.
