Perrin Exhaust

I am getting ready to upgrade the factory exhaust on my 2005 EVO MR. I have attempted to listen to as many sound clips that I could find on the web. The Perrin exhaust appears to have the best deepest and horsepower sound I found. Some say it is very loud. Does anyone have this exhaust or have any suggestions? This is a very important upgrade and I do not want to have any regrets.

It sound like you have done your research and know exactly what you want.
Even if it comes out totally wrong, just hang on to your stock exhaust, it's not a permanent alteration of your car. You'll definatly want to keep it anyway for "fix it" tickets or smog checks.

Personally I don't think you can go wrong if you go with the Buschur Racing exhaust with the Magneflow muffler option. Very quiet and "deep" sounding compared to most I have heard. I havn't personally listened to the Perrin though to know how it compares.

One work of warning- I don't think you can get a Perrin downpipe for your MR. I wanted a Perrin exhaust, but Adam there warned me that their downpipe didn't fit. Said they aren't making enough MRs and so they haven't made a DP that fits.

Otherwise, I'd probably have a Perrin exhaust today....
