upgraded fuel pump?

hey i have a friend that have a universal walbro 255 he was gunna use on his talon i was wondering if i got it would i need a fuel pressure regulator? or anything of the sort?

you will beed to be tuned after the install, what other mods do you have on your car?

its an 03 evo i just got it maybe 2 weeks ago, and from what i can get it has an ams frontmount injen hard pipe injen intake perrin downpipe hks hi power cat back uhh some kind of clutch i got it fron a dealership that really didnt know anything about these cars i cant tell if anything has already been donw to the fuel system

I would recommend taking it to a tuner near you or someone with ECUflash and the tactrix cable to download your rom and see if it has been changed at all.

could the factory tell me that? how do i get my own cable so i can learn myself?

no they really can't and if you have any kind of warrenty that will be voided if they know the ecu was tampered with. start with the how to on this site for ecuflash it has all the basic info you could possibly want. Also check out Main Page - OpenECU and google tactrix cable
