i have a 2006 mr bought it about 2 months ago at 15k. now its about 20k. i just ordered an hks carbon becuz price is no object and i like the sound, but i really wanted a turboback exhaust for performance so i ordered a power division test pipe w/ a megan racing downpipe to go along with it. what do yinz think of that? and im currently thinking bout orderin the walbro fuel pump, unos mbc, and gsc power division camshafts.
definately get the Walbro 250 fuel pump, MBC and a tune. For an MBC, I would get a Hallman though, but its your car man. With those additions id REALLY get a tune. Youll see a big difference in driving your car. Your cams can come later, definately with another tune, or do it all at once lol. But remember, to get the most out of your mods, the tune is key.
did you know the hks Ti-carbon is not a full 3" inner diameter exhaustit's just under that....Sounds great and looks great! Mod path woul be:
boost gauge
TBE
Intake
MBC
fuel pump
IC pipes
FMIC
Cams
Great tune
On a side note do you talk the way you type? Not trying to be rude, it just doesn't look right. Maybe its just me I guess.....
Good luck with your mods it sounds like you will have a sweet car. Remember when it comes to parts please get a solid tune.
why cams if your not going to flow the air from the intake side better first The injem system is nice because its a complete package but it moves the BOV and depending on which one you have it will hit the radiator fan. check out extremeturbosystems.com for full intake, IC pipes, and IC packages. Great products. They also offer many other products. as far as a fuel system you really wont need anything more then a fuel pump for those mods. but you will need a tune as soon as you get that. other then that wait on the cams, get the IC pipes and FMIC before the cams along with a intake.
i like the hks look and sound better then the ams piece. I would avoid cams until after you have a intake, pipes and FMIC. Also are you going to go bigger turbo?
