Ghetto method: Vicegrips, and a bolt with a 14mm head.

I spent 30 bucks on a specialty tool for a BMW rear differential that has the 14mm hex head and a 3/8" drive socket on the other..

I thought about that, but I figured If it wasn't worth effin it up when I can get the tool from my shop this week. Besides it was cold and my hands were loosing thier dexterity.

Hey Justin, when are you being deployed? Is there any chance of getting you to come down to get a few of us dialed in? I would like to know how much more my Lancers' got in it.

I'm getting the shaft at the moment about my actual departure date. I've been told "unofficially" I should be leaving the 15th. But as of today, I still do not have orders in my hands, nor a plane ticket

I'm sure if you could get a group of 2-3 I can make a trip to CarZ and we can make something happen.

Yeah, audible tq wrenches are nice, but the one you have is just fine. I think it is geared more for the finesse of touch or feel.

Did you extract the broken bolt yet?

When you do get your MAC tools that will be the sheez. If I were involved in the automotive biz, I could see myself financing a set. Until that day comes I'll just drop you a line
