Need help on what i should do with my evo, engine is broke, makes knocking sounds. Not sure what is wrong yet but am considering rebuild no matter the problem.

Just look around for short blocks at various venders. The usual: AMS, Buscher. Expensive but your running what they play with. Another company to looks at is Jackson AutoMachine, they have a wide selection of short and long blocks at different levels of upgrades. Good luck, sorry to hear your motor is going.
