piston rings bad! What built motor to buy?

Well recently I was driving and got home and poped the hood and saw oil all over the passenger side of the engine, also noticed the oil dipstick was out. I had a piston ring go bad. Coauple questions: To change out the block with a built one do I have to fully remove the engine and trans.? What engine should I get I want to stick with th 2.0 due to price. I want to get an already built block because I have never built a motor, but the only good ones I know of are buschurracing and AMS. Any opinions or ideas?? Thanks, Mike

I've been searching around and found that a few different companies make short blocks for the evo...It all depends on how much $ you want to spend, how much HP you are or want to make, and then go from there. AMS, Bushur, DevoTuning, SlowBoy Racing, TurboTrix all sell/build shortblocks.
