Upgraded head build questions

My buddy has an 05 evo and just picked up some Brian Crower titanium valves, springs & retainers, and ARP head studs. How much boost should it handle over stock now? I'm pretty new to the evo 4g63, so is he. Just trying to see what would be optimal to tune with and would like to know what this thing should handle now.

He also tossed in some Brian Crower 272s and some adjustable cam gears as well if that plays a roll.

what other mods does the car have? Stock turbo and stock motor?

tune the stock ecu with ecuflash. power and boost will depend on supporting mods also....

Your upgraded valve train has very little to do with how much boost the engine can handle now. Aftermarket springs and retainers are only to extend your RPM range. But with the stock bottom end you are still limited on RPM due to the stock rod bolts. On Evo8 turbos i would tune it 24-25 psi and raise the RPM limit up a little but thats about it.
