Brake Caliper Flaking

Has anybody had any luck with a Mitsu dealership replacing flaking calipers? I've got one caliper that just began to flake. I did a search and couldn't find anything on the subject.

I know evom has a section where it tells you how to paint over them. a tech artical. it seems helpfull. i need to do it to mine due to the fact one is flacing in the front.

I know dealerships here in socal have covered the caliper paint. I don't know about out there though.

it is a really simple fix, see if they will do it under warranty, if not do it yourself

you can also take matters in to your own hand, seen some people paint their calipers with dupicolor caliper paint, and some type of high temp clear coats, they even purchase the brembo decals off of ebay or some vendors, search the evom forums might come by it

Your paint should be fine, it is just the clear coat flaking off. If you peel the rest of the clear coat off, wash the caliper with mild soap. Then reapply the extreme heat clear coat (found at any auto store), it will look as good as new.
