edfc settings?

I'm looking at buying tein flex coilovers with the edfc. Could someone explain to me though what settings should be used for certain things and how different settings affect your driving. Suspension is one of the things that I definitely don't understand, but need to if I'm gonna get serious and buy the edfc.

What do you plan on using your car for? Regular driving, drag racing, auto-x?????
Since the Evo is primarily an understeer car, with the EDFC the way to compensate for this is the set the rear to full stiff (10) and the front to full soft (0).
One problem with the Tein's is they were manufactured 'wrong.' Since Tein's are primarily bought by people who use their cars for serious racing or are gettin into it.
The reason they are 'wrong' is the fronts were made with 9kg springs and the rears were made with 7kgs springs. This is completely opposite of what you want to have. If the Evo was an oversteer car, then this would be correct. But since it isn't you want a stiffer rear than front.

Also, for drag racing you could use the same set up (stiff rear soft front). This won't allow the front to come up as much.

Are the front and rear springs (TEIN) different diameter and length from each other? If not can't you just switch the springs? I know most stock setups have different size front to rear (I know my GVR-4 did) but don't most afermarket run the same diameter and length just with different spring rates?

I THINK the Tein's have the same spring diameters. Tein is aware of this 'problem' and are retooling their equipment to fix this.
